Naranja Tang is an up and coming rock band from this neck of the woods which has recently boasted another first place win at the Battle of the Bands competition at the Earthlink Live venue in Atlanta.

They also boast a special connection with the Staffords as the lead singer, Marshal Williams, is related to Mike and Rhonda Stafford.

"Check out the website, Naranja Tang has added the live performances.  The first two are my nephew singing," says Rhonda, who saw them at the Battle of the Bands event.  She is also proud of their placement at the finals, in the top 20 of over 1,000 bands!

Now they've made a movie out of our favorite book...The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!

Even better, our favorite film music composer, Danny Elfman, was hired for the job!  Elfman, who was lead of the well known band Oingo Boingo, works with Tim Burton often and has done the scores for movies such as Batman I, Spiderman I and II, Edward Scissorhands, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, the Simpson's Theme Song...the list goes on and on.

The book is a hilarious commentary on the oddities of the human species, set in a silly sci-fi environment.  Lets hope the movie is as awesome as the book!
